does a body kit add extra weight?

i was talking to a friend about body kits recently, and he told me that a body kit adds a lot of extra weight. is this true or false? i am thinking of buying either a stillen or ninja kit really soon.

I wouldn't say the Stillen kit weights that much. A good 20-30 lbs maybe?

well of course it adds weight, but i dont know how much.
