Sensor Replacement + Clarification

[rant]Changed the oxygen sensor that's throwing the P0138 and it was a PITFA to change. Getting those little tabs that hold the sensor wires to pop out of the retaining holes took more time than I thought. I think Nissan designed the whole sensor wire layout for limber people to work on because that pop tab that's right by the rear manifold is a pain.[/rant]

Anyways, I've driven the car for about 20 miles now, how long does the ECM/PCM pick the new sensor input and calibrate itself and clear the code(or does it)? I have an inkling just to do an ECM reset procedure but I'd like a more definite input on this. I'm getting tired of seeing that orange SES light....I might just change it to blue so it's more cool to look at.

Thanks.
