Alright I have been getting this P0430 intermittenly since I bought my Max. It could be due to a leak near the cat from when I installed my *** shifter bushing. Anway.... I build an O2 simulator but I want to make sure I am hooking it up to my car the right way. If the cat is bad and not working, then both the sensor before and after the cat should be sending a signal the ECU. If the cat was working, the first sensor would send a signal and the second sensor stays at logic low. If I wanted to get rid of the P0430 then should I connect the simulator the the sensor before the cat and ground the second sensor?

 

well i still am not sure about which signals get compared to what, but I just installed my homemade o2sim. The P0430 code I had is gone for now.... but for how long?
