Door insert ideas needed

I'm looking for ideas for what to cover the cloth door inserts on my 2k2 with the frost colour interior. I was initially thinking of wrapping them with black leather, but black seemed to contrast too much. I'm now thinking of going with something beige or greyish. If you've changed your inserts, can you post pics & tell me what you used?

This isn't my interior, but it's the same colour as mine:

Maximas with leather came with leather door inserts from the factory (at least 03s did). If your seriously considering it, why not find an interior to swap out the seats, door inserts, etc. all at the same time? Might save time and money. Might not...

Yes the 02's with leather also came with leather/vinyl door inserts. It thought about finding oem door panels but it would most likely be more money.

I have the same frost interior as you. I bought bone/puddy leather seats and the door inserts are puddy. The puddy matches really well with the frost I get compliments all the time and people are always like is this car brand new?

Here's a shot that I did with mine. Black suede on frost panels. I also did the headliner, armrest and rear deck lid though. It's cool, but I'm on the way of converting my interior to black so...

Exactly. That's why I got a dark interior. Yet for whatever reason, all light colored Infiniti interiors got color matched steering wheels/colums.

I guess for more money, you get another perk? I'm not upset that I have a black wheel / column... easier to keep clean looking as opposed to light grey.

So GLE's as well as Infiniti got matching wheels. Another fact overlooked! So it isn't purely money...

I went with wifey & one of her friends on a azz day out. We ended up in a place called JOANN's and it's a material spot. All sorts of ****, that's your best bet of the buck.

It's a big contrasts so if you aren't going to convert your interior I would find something to match your seats. Suede is definitely the way to go just get a closer color to match it up.

I don't know if this is a Canadian only store, but a place called Fabricland sells all sorts of fabrics including leather products in bulk.

I also recall once seeing fabric at WallMart but not sure if they sell leather products.

yeah they sell leather but it's on some off colors and it looks cheap. Believe me I got on a binge there for a minute covering everything in sight.
