Wheel vibration!

I just got the car a month ago. When I got it, it was riding perfect but lately it has been disappointing me. When I step on the pedal it is really apparent. Also at high speed if I'm just crusing or accelerating, the vibration is very high. I can just feel it on the pedal and on the steering wheel (it shakes back and forth). I know this problem is associated with tires being out of balance but I got all 4 wheels balanced and rotated after I got the car. Could the lug nuts be tightened too much? You guys have any clues on what it could be? Thanks in advance.

I guess I don't follow. Is it the brake pedal that causes the shaking, or while accelerating? The rotors would be my first thought also if it happens while braking. If accelerating though it could be a CV axle or possibly wheel bearings. If you think it's the tires, you could try switching the fronts to the rear and see if there is any difference. If so maybe you just need the balance done again. Maybe the weights they used didn't hold on to the rims right and some have flown off. Seen that plenty of times. Good luck.
