Optima Red Top

I am looking to buy an Optima Red Top for '01. Here is the part number that I have (GRP 34R 22827933). Could someone confirm that I have the right part number? Also is cheaper to purchase one somewhere on-line or Costco would sell them cheaper. Thank you very much to everyone in advance.

I believe the 75/35 is a direct fit. You'll have to do some terminal modifying if you get the 34R.

About your second question, I'm guessing a wholesaler like Costco would have a pretty competititve price.

Thank you very much for your reply. I was near Sears, so I just had them give me a direct part number for A33. Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

I got one 6 months ago for my 2000 I30. Got this one from Remy Battery. At the time it was only 82.85 plus 17.05 for shipping. (total ~$99)

http://www.remybattery.com/Optima-Ba...10-35-910.html

It was a direct fit; just use the plastic tray it comes with to sit it up a bit.

(Looks like the price went up)

I found this out when I looked around for a red top. All the places that sell them, including the manufactures site, show no model for the Maxima. The one I showed above fit fine!

Yes, as everyone else states, the 75/35 will fit fine. Use the tray that comes on top of the battery and put it below it to bring it back up to about the same level as the stock battery.

I installed my Red Top about 5 days ago (75/35) and bought it from Costco. I think the price was ~$105

Stupid Crutchfield. Telling me I can't fit 8" drivers in my doors.

Thank you very much to everyone for their replys. So I should go ahead with 75/35 & put the plastic tray under the battery to bring the height of it up? Other then that, I'll look around Costco & Sam's Club trying to find the best price.
