For those who have painted calipers....

What's the best stuff to use for painting our calipers? I don't think I want to spend a fortune on a pint of paint.

Is brushing on the best way to go?

Those who have painted them, how is the paint holding up?

Thanks in advance.

Check the Group Deal forum

I got my Caliper Paint fron there. Nathan is the one sending them out. The product is called Folica and it's made in Germany. I haven't had the chance to do it because it recommends that you don't drive your car for 24 hrs to let the paint harden. It looks like a good quality paint...cant wait to apply it. Kev...your Calipers painted yet??

Used engine spraypaint on my Neon that you can find at Pep Boys. It is heat resistant to very high heats. As long as you spray from a far enough distance away you get a nice even coat that will last for a long time. Had a glossy red that stayed that way until I sold the car.

Not yet. I probably won't get them painted anytime soon. Tell us how it goes after you paint them.

Folia Tech paint is very good.

My paint (brushed on specialty caliper paint) looks like new after one year.
