Washer fluid filler filter
Washer fluid filler filter
I was hoping fellow 5.5 owners can confirm that I'm missing the filter for my washer fluid reservoir.
I was filling up my washer fluid the other day and noticed that there wasn't the dome/cone shaped filter on the fluid reservoir. If I recall correctly thre used to be one there. I'm thinking I misplaced it, but wanted to be sure I wasn't imagining that there was one there.
Thanks in advance.

No it's not a big deal.
Now let me ask you a question, was it productive at all for you to reply without any useful answer?
If you have any useful information or know if my 5.5 is missing the reservoir filter please feel free to enlighten the Org.
If insted you only have snide questions please spare the Org and pm me instead.
I just can't get over the sheer insanity of this question. WHY would you need a particulate filter on a godd'amn WW fluid resivour. WHY?!
It would have to be there under the premise that harmful particulate would be
(a) In the NEW fluid
(b) Going through moving parts which could be damaged by lol, windsheild washer precipitate
Now, look at your windsheild. Do you see al the crap on there as is? Do you REALLY think it needs to be filtered when all of the junk is on there already?!
Did you even THINK before you posted this?!

I love you guys. Check the reg date genius (But thanks for the answer).
I'm not concerned about the necessity of the filter. I'm concerned I misplaced a part of my car that I "think" I used to have.
Imagine you misplaced $5 you think you had. $5 not a big deal, but if your friend can tell you if you had the $5 or not, it would put your mind at ease.... or maybe I just have a little OCD.
In anycase, thanks again for the answer.
Anyone else?
