k...i'm thinking of putting in a billet grille, like the ones for trucks, rather than a mesh type. i'm looking at all these magazines and i don't see anything for regular cars...only for trucks. think home depot has something i can use to make myself one? heh....

I don't think that anyone makes one for the 5th generation Maxima. Trendz makes a billet grill for the 4th Gen though.
I think that you would be hard presssed to find the proper supplies at Home Depot to make one yourself.
Good luck with your search and let me know if you figure something out.

Well there is basically 2 ways to make it i think. Either get something similar and cut and bang it to shape OR take apart my grill, measure and draw it. Make a mold of what i want the new grill to look like from wood, take it down to the family foundry, have it cast in aluminum and then get it chromed and polished.... I wonder how much it would cost and if i could mass produce em...

The answer to both questions is yes.. The ride is sweet now. Not harsh at all and actually smoother over small and large bumps. The car seems to absorb them better now. And now i can rip around turns with not nearly as much body roll... Its a whole new car.. Plus i have ZERO wheel gap in the rear, and a tiny bit up front... They were only 200 from carparts.com and install was 140 from SRD on university and mclintock..
