Muffler question

Will a 2001 muffler fit on a 2003 maxima?

hi,

i have an 2002 infiniti i35 muffler for sale. it has about 30k on it. selling it for $65 shipped. it is the muffler plus the piping. any one interested. mikedang8@yahoo.com

I'm assuming they are the same but are the mufflers on the I35's and 5.5 gen Maxima's the same?

I have 2001 model. Can someone suggest a good sounding muffler? I like how the 350z has that muffler sound.

I actually think the 2000 one looks better.

the AE one has 2 tailpipes that slope down towards the ground

Wheres a good place to get one- dealer?

I am sceptical going to an auto parts store because I don't want to end up with one that sounds like a go-cart. Yet don;t want to spend and arm and a leg either. As it is I have to spend $6,000 to get damage fixed from a hail storm last week. This just adds to the fun.
