Arrrrghh!!! ... Help with electrical connector

Hi All,

I have my Max up on blocks right now trying to fix the P0455/P1448 CEL. I was going to replace the Vent Control valve, then I snapped one the bolts off into the Evap Canister. So I figured, okay, remove the Evap Canister the the VCV attached and work from there.

Here's the problem.. I cannot figure out how to unplug the VCV electrical connection, it looks like I have to spread the sleeve apart and pull out. It's just not happening.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

******

Just so you all know, I managed to separate the VCV from the Evap Canister so I could access the electrical connector. It was an SOB to get that off. The whole connector including the "sleeve" part pops off from the VCV. Now it's off to the local Nissan dealer to contribute to the dealership benevolent fund !!
