Gear Panel Touchup?

Is there a way to get this scratch/scratches touched up or fixed somehow? This on an 03 Max.

Thanks

Those pieces have a pretty thin coat of paint and are easy to scuff up, in my experience... you could always just take the piece out and repaint it.

Cover it with a shift boot, like I did. I wanted one, anyway, so win-win.

What is a shift boot and where can I get one? I don't want to repaint the panel. Just thought if there was an easy way to get the scratch out, I would give it a shot.

Thanks

Dont know how a shift boot would look with an auto though.

I agree. Either repaint or replace.

shift boot on an auto? weird.. make it a pain the but to shift gears too.. well you could always look at the console, but it would take some adjusting.

Just go to your local dealership's parts department and get a price quote on that peice.. make your decision from there.

I think I'd try and repaint it. That plate list price is 75.03. Good luck.
