Bose HeadUnit Buttons dont glow

Hey everyone,
I just bought a 2002 nissan maxima and at night the headunut doest glow, the display glows, but not the buttons so i dont know what to do. is this normal, or did something burn out? Need help.

I am so lost

I got the exact opposite, my display doesnt work, but my button lights do...

I guess punching my stereo might have something to do with it
(Bose CD cut out issue)

repalce the whole head unit and save yourself headaches in the long run

i would rather stick with bose cuz it a pain to get an after market and a new bose HU is expensive,
Any way of fixing it ???/

i would give u mine, but it skips in cold weather...like i've read about others doing that. i'd get a new head unit like i did, but then again then the ohms aren't matched with the aftermarket hu and the bose speakers, so i got new speakers, and a new sub, and two amps power both, and had to rerunthe wires instead of using the existing wires that lead to the bose amp in the trunk to connect to my new amp....yeah i ended up paying about a grand more than i anticipated haha. well worth it though
