A oil catch can? Is your motor building up pressure and oil coming out of it?

Yes, his is..... And so is yours. Oil exits through the PCV valve and is dumped into the intake manifold to burn up. This is for emissions' sake. If you don't believe me, unhook the hose from the PCV valve and point it toward your face. Then have a friend rev the engine. (seriously though, don't do this).

As you may or may not know, oil into the intake manifold does two major things:
- gunks up the interior of the engine, particularly the intake manifold.
- oil reduces the octane in the gasoline during combustion.

As much as you have helped me in the past, I thought that I would try to return the favor somehow.
