OK, I finally put my molded brushed alumin kit on my Max. Looks very hot! ALSO shaved my emblems on my tunk, also very hot! LOL. But the big thing of today is that my dad signed papers to pick up a Black on Gray 2001 Maxima SE w/ C&C plus 6 disc changer on tuesday! So besides interior color and my mods we will have twins on the driveway, BUT my father is getting the brushed alumin molded kit and clear front markers!how cool is that!

Nah! It's not like the 2001 Maxima is lame. Still a great car, which can be purchased for thousands below sticker price. It's not like everyone will notice the difference between the 260 and 222-227 engine anyway. I expect the pricing on the Maxima to jump up quite a bit.

I don't think there are any holes behind the 'Maxima' and 'SE' emblems so you should be fine.

There are no holes behind the "MAXIMA" and "SE" logos, just take a piece of string and slide it behind the letters and keep on slidding theyc o0me right off. The Nissan emblem leaves two holes but i put my italian flag car plate over it, so I will be fine, if you dont cover it you have to fill it because then the trunk will leak.

Your dad knows a good car when he sees it. And those clear markers and brushed aluminum kit he's going to put in does indeed put your dad in the 'cool' category.

Too bad my dad isn't that cool. The only 'mod' he ever put in his old Altima was this ugly cloth seat cover.

Congrats on having 2 Maxes in the same driveway. You can tell your Dad that the people from Maxima.org thinks he's got good taste.
