I paid $50... there is a group buy or something posted... i think SYCEFIRO is selling them... check it out... $55 shipped i think...
thanks a lot UMD
I really like them too and i havent had any bad criticism from any of my friends...
the UDP is smaller and lighter than the original crank pulley. it gives a little less power to the cars accessories which are robbing power from the engine and since it is also lighter it is easier on the engine to spin it and uses the unused power from that to go to the wheels... basically its only like a 2-3 whp gain but i know its there now!!
and you do feel a gain in the low end... i like it...

Hey Psing,
Did you do the UDP install yourself?
I am trying to decide between a y-pipe and an UDP and I can't make up my mind. So, you said you CAN tell the difference with it installed? Hmmmm, I wonder if it makes more of a difference on a 5spd max?

Okay, I know you've been asked this about three times, and I'm sorry for being a pain, but I really want to know where you got those chrome rings around your dials. Is it a euro dash kit? I would like to know where you got them from. Do you know the name of the place that has them? If not, could you please provide the name of the member you bought them from?
Thanks.
Thanks.

How-To Install Chrome Gauge bezels on 2000+ Nissan Maxima
You will need a phillips screw driver for this.
1- Unscrew 2 screws at the top of the dashboard inside where the instrument cluster is.
2- Unscrew the 4 outside under the steering wheel... that will detach the top part of the plastic cover over the steering column. take that off.
3- Pull out the plastic that is around the instrument cluster that is holding in the gauge cluster into the car... when pulling this out you will have to disconect the wires from behind it. pull out the traction control wire (if you have it) and the other 2 wires on the left side ( i dont remember what they are... i think the dim switch and the mirror adjustment)
4- This will expose 3 screws to remove the actual cluster from the car. 1 on top in the middle, 1 on the bottom left corner, 1 on the bottom right corner. Unscrew these 3 screws
5- pull out the cluster. there are also 2 wires to disconect from the back of this. just pull them out the same way you did with the other ones. once they are disconected just pull the whole cluster out.
6- the clear plastic cover is attached to the cluster with maybe 10 little snaps all around the whole thing... they work on pressure... when you see them you will right away know how to un snap them... just go all the way around and unsnap each of them.
7- once everything is unsnapped just pull the clear plastic off and now your instrument cluster is exposed. stick the guage bezels on each of the gauges. press down firmly and make sure that they stick good... push down all the way around so there are no little cracks that light can pass through between... just run your finger all around a bunch of times applying pressure. also you dont want these things to fly off while you are driving.
8- put the plastic back on and work in reverse order by attaching all the wires and putting the screws back and everything and thats it.
9- sit and admire it and say cool that looks pretty good

but i could be wrong
Second thoughts.......
Guys it is only fair that I warn you that these rings and their install are not as easy as it seems. Many screws, clips, connectors, and other items have to be disconnected before getting into cluster. The cluster and its plastic covering is also quite thin and brittle and in fact broke one of the tabs by accident.
The rings are nice in quality but two smaller (50mm) rings are way to big and do not fit in the least. Some dremel work is necessary I suppose. The tacky silicone does not look like its up to Florida summers either, but only time will tell.
The one good thing.......I found how to change the kwirky green key light in the process, to bad I forgot to check bulb size. I hate to flame a product ...... but it looks better than it installs and some modifications are necessary such as 48mm rings and 3M heavy duty double stick tape trimmed to bezel to make it right!!!!
