Everyone keeps talking about ...oh I am going to trade in my 2001 Maxima for a 2002. And ..oh I wish I would've waited one more year. What is going to be happen this time next year when the 2003 maxima will be coming out..is everyone going to want to trade in there 2002 max for a 2003. My opinion is dont trade up for a 2002, why not wait until the brand new redesigned max comes out in 03.

some people think that the 2003 maxima wouldn't look good so they are going for the 2002.

Hey, Am i the only one who doesn't like the new Max? I would much rather keep mine. I think the new grill/face is ugly. The HP isnicebut not neccesary. I'm sure he price will go up too. PLUS, the Altima is very nice now.

I'm probably going to trade but for slightly different reasons. I love all the new extras on the max and I want a car with a stick, sunroof, HIDs, navigations etc. While it didn't make sense at all to trade to a 2k1. The 2k2 has enough extras to make it worth it (depending on price).

No, I agree, the 2K2 max is ugly. It is too ritzy, it's lost it's sports car edge.

yep, especially those 17"(2002) wheels which are the 16"(2000,2001) only bigger. I think that's a stupid thing to do.

Those aren't the 16"s because the 16"s are only 5 spokes. Those look like the 17"s w/o caps. Which would make me happy.

Personally, I don't think the cosmetic changes are to die for but the lights and grill don't make a "sports car." If anything, the increase in power and the 6-speed make it more of a sports car, not less. Just my $.02.
