data dot removal

data dot removal
its been like 3 days and ive pmd a whole bunch of people about the data dots and no one knows how to remove them. can some one please pm me how to remove them? and no im not tryin to steal them, i just want to clear my lights. thanks.

I doubt very much if the datadots can be removed. They are microscopic in size and are sprayed onto the housing and become part of it. Anyway, why would ANYONE want to remove datadots. They identify the HIDs with the VIN, which can be tracked to the owner of the Max. A datadotted HID has little or no value in the black market because no self-respecting buyer/dealer will buy stolen property.

so you mean to say that "data dots" are microscopic microchips that are sprayed onto the headlight?

Huh, all data dots are is special brackets nissan put on the lights to make it more difficult to steal. They put special serial numbers on the lights that match the vin on that car. They put stickers on the side of each light and stickers on the front pass. and driver windows.......I think he's asking how to remove the lights now that the special anti theft bracket is in place

Hmm I have data dots and want to replace just the headlight covers. Can I or is it not worth it?
