draytime running light question...

anyone has any idea what voltage is beling delivered during daytime running ? i am contemplating to buy a bi-xenon hid and was wondering if the DRL could power the bulbs up even during DRL mode. I believe the bi-xenon draws 35W of electricity...

thx.

Your high beams run in series so they would be at half illumination.

DRL on 00-01 is the high beam... and it only deliver half of the voltage from the DRL module.... normally is 12V so when u release the handbreak the light comes on with 6V... that's what i've been told in here...

Drl

DRL won't work on any HID kits, either Bi-Xenon or Hi-Low. I run Hi-Low (high halogen and low HID), the DRL doesn't work.

yeah, daytime lights use a regular (non HID) type bulbe. Saw a 300C the other day with his lights on - turned them off and the HID turned off and a small regular bulb came on (the daytime light)
