Hey, guys. I have a question. I have a 2001 SE, Auto, no mods. I got about 3,300 Miles on it. But what I noticed is when my car shifts from 1st gear to 2nd - it does it kinda rough once in a while (it sorta kicks back). And also if I floor it (sometimes the situation calls for it) it waits for a split second before it responds. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance.

Check the TSB for the auto transmission in the sticky threads.

If i have also this problem on my 2001 maxima "And also if I floor it (sometimes the situation calls for it) it waits for a split second before it responds" could this be a TSB issue

Possibly, but probably just the nature of the beast (auto tranny).

I went out to a highway near my house, and i saw that from 40mph i floor it, it downshifts to 3rd as i do it and then the tranny gets to 2nd after 1.5 seconds. WTF is this ****?
Can't it just go straight to 2nd why does it have to go through 3rd.

Don't tell them you saw or heard about a TSB, though!! As soon as they hear that their eyes just glaze over and they say, "Just because there's a TSB doesn't mean everyone has the problem." I went through great pains to leave my car with them for an entire day and made the mistake of leaving the printed TSB on the passenger seat (actually thought it might help the mechanic reproduce or isolate the problem in case he didn't know about it) and when I picked up the car the first thing he said was, "we didn't notice the shifting problem, and just because there's a TSB doesn't mean ... blah blah blah". So, no fix, and the problem still happens everytime I drive the car. And it's too damn difficult for me to leave the car like that, so it's probably going to remain unfixed. I made sure they put the proper notations in the record in case I have bigger problems later that might be related to this, but oh well.
