Spoiler

I have a gash in my spoiler and I was planning on having it painted but I came across this pre painted spoiler on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2000-...21521598QQrdZ1

Is it worth it?

Sterling Mist is correct! I was unaware that ABS is making stock like spoilers for the max, of course the pic they show is an actual oem factory spoiler but hopefully their production is exactly like it and not just worded that way just to make you think it is oem fit. Good luck though, not a bad price!

I got my spoiler from them. They did a great paint match and a good quality spoiler. Here's the link there Nissan OEM spoilers. http://stores.ebay.com/autowingandsp...QQftidZ2QQtZkm

yeah i have a sterling mist maxima also.. bought the ABS spoiler painted off ebay..lined up perfectly,.. good paint match.. but to answer your question.. its prob going to cost you about the same price if u get a good shop to do it... what i would do is buy the painted one and then sell yours either on here or on ebay.. you could even use the box the new one comes in to ship

i bought a spoiler from ebay from SpoilerDepot i think was the name, but anyways three years later the paint is starting to chip, it didn't last very long...just a warning. but it fit fine and the inital color match was good.

I purchased my spoiler from them! My GLE didn't originally come with one, so I purchased from these guys. It comes with all the mounting hardware and brackets, and you can't beat the price compared with most other sellers.

Now my next question is...I tried taking off the padding under the trunk lid to get at the wiring and middle screw...but when i turn those little plastic screws that hold it on i cant get them off...i used the smallest phillips ehad to turn them but no matter how much i turn them they dont come out....also...the wiring for the light...is it a matter of un plugging and plugging back in?

yeah screws are weird... turn them like an 1/8 of a turn and u will see the head pop down.. then u just pull... they dont screw in at all .. once u get one you will see what i mean.. and for the wiring.. its 2 wires.. +/- .. i ran it to the orig 3rd brake light.. red -red .. black -black .. its simple ( actually i previously was spoilerless.. so thats what i had to do.. for your case it might be plug and go,.. but hardwireing is just as easy)

For everyone with ebay spoilers... after you installed it, does your trunk still pop up, when you open it? Or did you guys have to get different tension bars?
