Well, not really a mod, but I love this thing...NUVI 350 Nav unit

In the trunk:

Removed the tape from the B pillars. Some guys have done this, but it only looks good on black, IMO:

During:

And after:

Nice, I like the setup in the trunk and the blacked out window trim is hot. I'm planning on blacking mine out soon too.

Removed my JMS upper grille and installed Grille Tech black upper and lowers:

And got tired of polishing stuff in the engine bay, so I started adding some chrome fasteners:

good stuff Tom....I've been meaning to take that trim tape off for a while now...new inspiration. Did you just peel it off, or does it need to be heated up?

Heating it up helped get it off quicker. You'll need to lightly score the tape with a razor blade cause it goes under the trim piece. Then it tears right off.

I've also got Redline Shift/ebrake and armrest covers coming.

So where did you get those chrome bolts? are they pretty expensive? And what did you do with the upper radiator supports that you had polished? I did it also, but within 2 weeks it had rusted, so i re-sanded it, primed it and painted it black. Also, do you happen to remember where you got your carpet trunk mat from?

I got the fasteners from a local hardware store. I don't remember the individual cost, but total cost foe what I did was about $55. I got nuts, bolts, washers and 2 acorn nuts for the battery tie down. Here's a link to a place out east. Cost was very close to what I paid locally, so I didn't order from them.

LAO2 - Same problem with the radiator mounts. They get crappy looking in a very short time. They're still polished, but I didn't take pics precisely because they had some corrosion on them. I think I may get them chromed

Stardust, what's the date for the cruise?

I don't remember exactly where I got the mat. IIRC it was from a dealer in Washington State. Fred...something Nissan, I think. Found it on a Google search. About $50 shipped.
