can 15" wheels be used on 5.0 gens?

Can 15" wheels be used on VQ30 5th gens with no clearance issues, as long as the offset is correct?

Thanks

I am asking about clearance issues between the rotor/caliper and the rim. The bolt pattern is 5x114.3 which obviously is the correct bolt pattern.

They can be used on 5.0 gens but not 5.5 gens because they won't clear the front rotors.

15s will work just fine on 00/01 models but not on 02/03 cars.

and if there is anybody wodnering why the 15s wont fit on the 2k2-2k3 its becasue of the brakes. rotors are a bigger diameter

Whatever. It was/is a stupid question.

If he woulda searched, he would have found out that if the offset was correct they would fit. ATS Comp Lites are used at the drag strip all the time.

Or he could have went outside and measured.......

Stupid questions get stupid answers

Where did you "learn" this from?

The argument between you and Soonerfan in that thread was noted by the mods before the thread was closed.

someone actually has run 15's for drag wheels, i think they had to be steelies so its pretty much pointless, but if you get the right design you can find a set that fits...or you could save yourself the trouble and get 16's

I was under the belief that 15" rims would fit 00-01 GLE/GXE models, but not SE models, due to the brakes. I was also under the impression that there was no shot at them fitting an 02-03 model.

Please correct me as needed.
