Hey guys does anyone know how to replace or if i even can replace the trim, its dented, looks tacky, its only on the driver's door.

It comes off so it must be replaceable. The bottom piece comes off easy. The top piece has a few more screws and clips. I'm not sure how the small curved piece comes off but it does. I think the mirror has to come off. That's probably not dented anyway.

Try a junk yard for the part.

I know brand new from Nissan all that chrome trim goes for $400.

 

yeah i want to ditch my chrome trim too and go with the shadow line, looks much cleaner then the tacky chrome..... does anyone know how much it costs to have dealer remove and install black trim??

 

They have it in black??? Mine is chrome and its dented up, id like just get the chrome peice and black it out myself or just paint it black.

 

I'm in the same boat. Mine is dented from the previous owner, but it's on my passenger side. I decided that I might as well go to a junk yard and pay them 5 bucks or so for it.

$400 for the trim!!!!??

 

I called a few and none of them sell just the trim. They keep it with the door because when they sell the door people want it. I've been planning on removing mine and painting then black I was going to get some from a yard, paint them and just swap them out. I figured I'd paint the other set and sell them here. Looks like it won't work that way.
