why would you want to unless you have a built engine and/or FI?

quoting and dissing yourself ftmfl.

now to answer the thread. the rev limiter is a function of the ECU. so you need to flash the ECU or somehow hack it up.

nobody is judging here, but the original poster seems to be confused. In the thread title he's asking about the rev limiter, and in the text he's asking about the VIAS, which are two completely different things.

The answer to both questions is "no," unless you're going to get a piggyback or do something custom.....

TS aka Technosquare (use to find it) have only done a handful of DEK ECU's... And do not reprogram them (00-01 ECU's) anymore.

The EMU (Greddy E-manage Ultimate), which is a piggyback CAN do this...but since you mentioned that you didn't want a piggyback, then you're SOL.

You have an 01, which has a better rod bolt 'design' vs the VQ35's.

didnt mean to confuse, i used the vias summit racing switch as an EXAMPLE. An example of a "switch" that isnt incorperated as a feature in a piggy back ecu. thanks for the answer though, only took 8 posts of *****ing to get it

The thread is only 2 hours old....I think you're giving yourself just a BIT too much credit for anything. People answer on their own time. You have nothing to do with it....

perhaps more clarity in future questions would avoid the problem....
