Z32 calipers + R32 rotors = very spongy/lots of travel feeling?

I am testing out a 5th gen 3.0L car right now with the Z32TT calipers, worn skyline R32 rotors & Hawk HP+ pads. There is a lot of brake travel and it feels spongy. The lines have been bled, and it still feels this way. Is this a normal feeling for a bbk?

after bleeding check brake bias if still the same upgrade master cylinder or you will never dry that sponge

well, 5th gen max has a different brake pedal feel... are you comparing it to 4th gen brakes? or "a lot of brake travel and it feels spongy" in general?

It just feels like there is a lot of travel and feels spongy in general, compared to any car I have driven including my old 4th gen.
