Engine Dampener?

Are there any companies that make one for the Maxima? I searched around, couldn't find anything. I was on mynismo.com and saw that they had one for the 350/G35. Does anyone know if this would possibly be able to be installed into a 5.5 gen? I know MMIs help wheel hop and such, but there was one made for the SE-Rs/Spec-Vs, and it practically eliminated such wheel hop when combined with the MMIs.

You might be able to adapt one of those to work on FWD.

Connect to engine and firewall or ????

Would be interesting if it worked.

JClaw made the traction bars for the 4th gen, but could not adapt them to the 5G.

Best solution is a well-setup suspension. I NEVER get wheel hop....no matter how hard I punch it out of the hole.

ES control arm bushings, correct spring/strut rates, stage 2 LTB does the trick.

One other issue I have with this car, is the amount of engine jerking when you let off the gas in the lower gears. I read somewhere that the MMIs should reduce that, even though they will give a tiny bit of vibration during idle. Would something like this help as well though?

This is the biggest issue I have with my car. My condo complex where I live has a series of speed bumps that I end up in 2nd as I'm going over, and the jerking makes me just want to stomp the gas and catch air .

Also, there is a hill by where I live, and every time it rains and I get stopped by the light right before the top, I hop like the easter bunny up the remainder of the hill. Makes me just want to the car. And given I already found more debt than I can handle, any "less expensive" ideas on how to at least reduce this, if not eliminate it, would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah I feel you on the jerkness of the car. I think I am gonna probably do the ES mounts when the ones on the car fall. I'll just have to deal with the extra vibration in the cabin in order to cancel out some of the jerkness and all the movement by the motor......

I believe there was a TSB to help alleviate some of the rocking in the lower gears under light load. Apparently, Nissan can reprogram the fueling at low rpms at closed throttle to eliminate the bucking.
