need help asap..please

i just bought the (dupli-color) red calipers paint. i need to know if its safe to paint the caliper without removing the whole caliper? cuz i have never removed it before so dont know how which bolt to untigh plus its more hassal. so can i do it without removing it?
please help/

i used the brush on paint and i didnt remove anything but the rims.
if you get paint the rotors not a big deal it will come off when you drive the car.

Yep, I just paint mine with duplicolor red as well. Just masked off the bleed screen and some of the rotor and went to town without removing. Very simple project. Take your time and apply 3 coats or more.

ya if its the brush paint then remove the rim and then clean the caliper with a wire wheel bit for a drill and then use brake cleaner and clean everything really good and then you can start painting. let each coat dry before going on to the next coat. do atleat 3 coats

When I did mine it took me 15 mins. to jack the car up and put it on 4 jack stand and take the rims off. And then it took me 30 mins to clean all 4 calipers. I painted on 10 coats of red that took 2 hours. And to put everything back together another 15 mins. So a total time of 3 hours.

get ready to do this every year if not every few months the paint sucks and always chips i painted mine before and after repainting them over and over i just went a got them powdercoated now im all set for a few years... my .02

I painted mine about 6 months ago and it still fine. and on my 4th gen they were painted for 2 years and I never had a problem with them
