If your talking about the mudflaps...yes, they can be removed. They are held on with two bolts screwed on the inside of fender. The '00-01's came stock with dull black mudflaps, while the '02-'03's came stock with side skirts and body-colored mudflaps.

just a note, if theyve been on the car for soemtime, which they should, having probly never been removed. is possible the paint undernieth and mainly where the flaps meet the body may not be in the greatest of shape. it took some buffing and clay bar, and mine still arent perfect.

that and there was alot of built up crap up behind them. i keep my car as clean as i can, and i was suprised how much there was. i count myself lucky it hadnt started to rust back there.

I took mine off recently when I installed my Stillen kit. They are black and mint. Fronts will fit 00-01. Rears will fit all years.
I will post in the FS forum once I figure out the pricing.

I have a 2k and have the body colored mudflaps. The rears are interchangeable for all 5th gener's. Therefore, you can buy the 2k2-2k3's bodycolored mudflaps and install them on the 2k-2k1's with no fitment problems. The fronts, supposedly you would have to custom paint, but for some lucky/odd reason, I had found a pair on Ebay from a Nissan seller that were already pre-painted and they were a factory Nissan part. Hmmmm? I'll try to find my original receipt for the Nissan part number.
