I have a chance to buy some 5th gen 16" wheels with the original tires on, only 100 miles on the combo. I'm not sure yet if I will do it, but I'm looking for your opinions on the Toyo tires. I don't know the model of the tire, but they're Toyos. Specifically, how is the grip in wet conditions? I drive a lot in the rain and I have to have a good rain tire. Thanks.

 

I have those same wheels and tires on my SE, but haven't had a chance to ride them through too much bad weather, so I can't tell you my thoughts.

However, a lot of the folks here who have them will probably tell you that the stock tires suck in wet weather.

When mine eventually wear out, I'll be getting better tires, and if the money is there, I want the 17" OEM wheels.
