Shift **** screws??

I bought a shift **** off ebay and it came with the little tiny allen wrench screws. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get some more of those tiny screws. because I dropped one and could not find it when I was installing the shift ****.

They make some universal type shiftknobs that can adapt to more cars, just slides over stock shift shaft and the screws anchor it. Pretty common thing.

thanks guys, i'll try home depot. and to get the shift **** off wasn't too hard, it was on there tight as hell because of the glue holding it on. I just got a vise grip and twisted it came right off. lefty loosy. I tore the leather shift **** tho. oh well. wasn't going to use it again anyways.

I dont reccomend those universal ***** for stick shifts, those little screws come loose after a while and you constantly have to tighten them down. If you are going to get one from ebay, make sure its for your car rather than the universal kind....trust me.

A simple lock washer ought to prevent that from happening.

you cant really use a lock washer, its a tiny little set screw with a pointed tip and there isnt a head to lock down on the washer because it sits flush once its screwed down, just an FYI, since the shifter ***** are self tapping, once its off, its hard to get it to go back on....and stay there
