I'm thinking about buying a set of G35 wheels for my 2002 but I can't decide if I will like them or not. Does anyone have a picture of these wheels on a 5.5 gen?

there is a large thread on the subject stickied in the "wheels and tires" section.
Or, just check out my homepage....I have a couple different sets of G35 wheels.
Damn Desi, that's kind of an old-school pic. I use those wheels for winter/snow tires now....those bad boys were a bit heavy for autocross

BTW Dust N Bones - from the looks of it, those in your pic are the wheels from the G35 Sedan (17x7" rims with 40mm offset, IIRC). The ones in the pic of my car above (autocrossing) are the almost-identical ones from teh G35 coupe (17x7.5front, 17x8 rear, 33mm offset). You can tell the ones on my car are a little bit "deeper" in the curveature to the center cap.
I did actually search but only found pictures with the coupe wheels. I know they look pretty similar so I understand why people get upset with this thread. Sorry about that, I'm just a little picky.
Irish I did see your car in this thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=422495
I could tell you had the coupe wheels that's why I asked about the sedan wheels even though they are very similar. Can you answer a question for me - If I was able to find a set of the coupe wheels could I run stock tires? I know the rear wheels are a little wider so I'm assuming probably not.
Thanks

yes, you can run stock 225/50/17. In the pic where I'm autocrossing there I have 225/45/17 track tires on it. The rims are staggered, but the 225's will fit both.Originally Posted by Dust N Bones

Now here's the thing though: If you have "stock" Potenza RE92 or Eagle RSA tires that you want to swap over - DON'T. Take those crap tires and throw them in the Springfield Tire Fire and buy some quality tires.
Whatever tire you have, go to it's manufacturer's site and make sure the size in the tire you have is "within spec" for a 8" wide rim. Most are, but a few might not be.

I'm turning to the maximum grip of the tires into a hard 270-degree skidpad.....I really don't think that's bad body roll, personally Originally Posted by limsandy

Yeah... I guessed that was what you were doing in the empty parking lot... and the bodyroll isn't bad at all, considering the weight of the Maxima. Originally Posted by irish44j
