HIDs in fogs

Hey guys I want to install HIDs in my 2003 maxima fogs...Im having someone install it but he said I need to buy the "kit" first. He mentioned something about getting the H3 size bulb. When it comes to lighting, I dont know a thing. So someone please guide me as to what kit I should get and any links would also be appreciated. Im looking for a bright bluish...maybe 6000k series? thanks in advance

SLVRMAXX,

visit HELIOS GD here: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=484498
and get the H3 mini bulb in 6000k. i have 6000k dsr(OEM replacement) and 6000k mini H3 (fogs) as do alot of other .org members. however, take the time to install this yourself. dont pay anyone for this. installation is a breeze!! all you have to do i follow the wiring instructions. i can offer help if you need it. good luck. ill have pics of my setup up soon.

i think hids2000 sells kits for 210 on nycmaxima.org and he helps with installs if you drive to him in nj. he can drop off kits in the city usually but talk to him to get better details.

I mounted mine right on the metal piece inside the wheel well. When you take off the plastic guard on the drivers side look to the right and you will see a huge open area to tack the ballast to. I used a self tapping screw to mount it. I did the same on the passenger side, but it was a little harder because of the washer fluid, but I still go it to work.
