Is it free of charge at dealership to perform TSBs even the car is out of standard warranty? Thanks!

 

They are not obligated to perform TSBs after your warranty is expired.

 

Similiar to what phong posted. TSB's in most to all cases are not free unless they fall under warranty coverage. If they do not fall under warranty coverage or warranty has expired, customer will be charged in most all cases.

Only recalls are free of charge.

 

Thanks for the reply. I saw it somewhere in the forum that the dealership fixes TSB without any charge even warranty expired, hence I'm wondering...
My bloody hell dealership ask for $150 only for diagnosing.

 

my dealership only charges diagnosis if i decide not to get the repair done after they looked at it.

 

tsb's only come out after they find solutions to common problems so that technicians don't replace 5 different parts while under warranty costing nissan more money. That's all. Now recalls are a different storry. They will perform them for the life of the vehicle
