ebay bumper

I need to get a new rear bumper. Has anyone had any experience with bumpers on ebay?

Seems pretty cheap, but I would be concerned with matching. A couple years in the sun vs the factory color might not blend so nice.

I'm actually more concerned about the quality of the bumper and paint if you buy them from Fleabay. If the bumper is not CAPA certified, it may not fit as good as the factory piece. It is also hard to tell what kind of paint they put on it, how durable it is, and when is it gonna peel off. Save yourself from the frustration later on and get it done right.

I don't recall who exactly, but IIRC, there were a few members who used ebay bumpers, even suggested them. Just get it bare bones and get painted at a shop.

I just realised that you are from Los Angeles. I bought a rear bumper from Frank at Superior Nissan for around $170. I believe there are a lot of body shops around the City of Industry area that can paint it for you for a decent price.

I bought a front bumper off of Ebay in the past and never had any issues with it. For in fact it's still on the car and the quality is top notch.

An original bumper for $170 is a deal. If you dont mind me asking, how much did you pay to get your bumper painted and install?
