Upper grill options for 02-03

I know that this is kinda a NOOB question, but i searched and couldnt find the old threads on this.

I need an upper grill for an 02-03 bumper, the factory one is too much $$$ i think, so what are the options for aftre market upper grills?

Pics would be great too

Thanx

It's a shame that no one has any answers regardless if they like em or not. This is what I've got.

Trenz grille upper and precision lower grille. Both from Sport compact only.

i like the grille tech, but they are pricey. i really like the drilled holes in the gmc denali suvs. maybe find a grille from one at a junk yard, and cut it to size to fit the max?

If the billet won't go with your set up then you might want to consider trying to find the stock grille. I thought there was one on Ebay but I'm not sure if it's still there.

On the 5.5 it's really easy to replace, "plug & play." If you know what I mean.

Pearl,
I haven't been in the 5th Gen forums in a minute. Your Max looks sick! Almost looks like a GT-R front end.

ya for the price of an OEM front grill I got off ebay the upper grill and lower valence grill for 150 shipped. You can check them out in my thread here.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=494467

I really like the trenz grill. However I am not in the mood for paying 250 dollars for the grill when I have one now, and I can use that money towards better modifications on the car or payments.

Minus the nissan badge and blacked out i think it looks good. IMO they don't make a good grill for the 5.5 gen. Your best route might be getting a stock one and painting it to match you color combo (black/white) just a suggestion

IMO stock grill is the best. Those other grills take away from the agressiveness of our front bumpers.

Check out my mod to the stock grill. It's not so over the top and can be removed later if you want.

I'm planning on painting the grill black soon.

The car is putting down 236 torque and 235 HP at the wheels on a Dynojet dyno.

You should paint it the same color as your car man... Then chrome out the inserts you put in. That would look nice with the chrome burger.

get the grill techs on ebay for half the price... not sure why they do it that way, but they sell them cheaper on ebay than their website.

This is my old JMS Products grille. I now prefer the look of the OEM grille over any of the aftermarket ones.

That looks pretty mean. I like that grill with your bumper. Some guy, I am not sure who, also has a white max and did some body work to the stock grill by getting rid of the oem hamburger and just having the two straight bars. I thought that looked pretty sick too.

I really like the look of that grill painted black. Thanks for doing that, I am probably going to attempt it sometime in the future.

PearlWhtMaX2000 your grill also looks amazing. I am going to try and do one of these grill mods soon. Any tips on painting it?

Thanx man.

Id say take it off and let a body shop paint it. it wont cost too much, and should come out real nice.
