not worth it
from what i heard, the phillips hid conversion kit isn't worth it. it's true that it performs a whole lot better than the superwhites and such, but stillnot as good as oem hid's. just wait for better and cheaper ones to come out. i'm sure the price willdrop real soon. and the superwhites are 50 bucks not 100

Cheap PIAA Blubs
I just ordered the PIAA H4 Plasma Blues from here:
http://www.urbanjunglesuv.com/auxili...ban_jungle.htm
They are only $69 plus $6 shipping. That is the cheapest I found and I searched all over the web. They also have the PIAA H3/55w Superwhites.

Not worth it, unless you really want HID and want to pay $800+ for it.
You'd need either an H4 conversion or an entire headlamp assembly swap.
H4 conversion - you'd probably lose highbeams. The H4 filament is compatible with HID bulbs, but the beam pattern isn't designed to deal with so much light and might be screwed up.
Headlamp swap to HID (presumably an I30 or something w/stock HID): $$$$$$$$$$ + body work ($$$$$$$$).
Then there's the HID-look bulbs. They don't light the road well and I am dead-set against them, but if you're just driving around in the city you might be ok. If they are too blue expect tickets from cops since bulbs that are more than a hint of blue are illegal.
