To all owners of HID fog lights....

Have you any of you ever experienced flickering upon turning on the fogs? Or hear a buzzing noise from the ballast? If so I highly suggest you install a relay to draw power directly from the battery and to ground the ballast directly to the chassis. I've had that setup for a while now, and it took care of all my occasional HID fog problems. But I've noticed most people just install it per factory wiring, which is OK since no one has posted fried wiring yet, but for safety and a peace of mind, I really recommend this mod. It only costs about $20 in parts and wires and is very easy to do, the benefits far outweigh the work involved.

I have had those exact symptoms before. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll probably wait until spring to do that though.

I'm having the same problem. My drivers side fog will not turn. If I shut them off and turn them back on they both work fine.
