Does an ECU updates include multiple fixes?
Does an ECU updates include multiple fixes?
I replaced my MAF a few months back and did not bother updating the ECU for the potential mileage improvement. Now I'm getting P0430 (pre-cat) and decided my first step is to update the ECU to see if the improved tolerances make this problem go away (otherwise I'll probably go for the Y-pipe).
The question - can I just walk into a dealer and ask for the latest ECU update - will it cover both of these items?
Thanks in advance

I think that they would do if your under warranty AND would pay for the hourly charge for them to do it. Otherwise, good luck when you hear how much they want or that they cant do it and need to replace it with a newer model. I heard it all.
