6th gen IM?

From what I've read, the 6th gens are making a little more power than the 5.5 gens. My question is, if it is due to the IM and if it is, is it interchangable and/or worth while? If it isnt the IM, than would it be in the programing of the ECU? (A/F ratio, timing curve, etc, etc...)

The IM is the same on the 5.5, 6th, and VQ35 Altima (even the SE-R).

I thought I read in the 6th forum something about them breathing better. If it isnt the IM, would it be in the ECU tuning?

The only difference in the IM is the EGR.
