Bumper/Hood is faded/chipped - Suggestions?

Hi Gang,
I purchased a used 2K GXE (20K Miles), black and the nose (hood, fr. bumper) has some small stone chips and appears to be slightly faded (from bugs and chips). Should I repaint, or are there any products that may restore some luster back to the vehicle - and not hurt the clearcoat.
The rest of the car is shiny and mint...
