Tokico Blues too soft?

My tech told me that the Tokico HP's I have on the car are way to soft and they are causing the tires in the rear to wear unevenly. He told me that the fronts are fine. Anyone have this happened to them? I have my Blues for about 3 yrs now with the H-techs.

I am currently looking to replace my 00 stock struts/springs. Any feedback would be great on this topic.

Have you been happy with the ride? I have family, just looking for something to tighten up the round-a-bouts.

ride is fairly soft and a little bouncy over bumps but a tad stiffer than stock

i heard they were soft...near OEM specs...so its advised that you pair up stock springs or maxspeeds with tokico blues

but i thought our rear suspensions doesn't have adjustments? which means if your shocks or other components wore out, it wouldn't necessarily change the camber/toe angles? correct me if i am wrong

try popping your hood...and bouncing your car...it shouldn't bounce more than once....same with the rear...pop open the trunk

It doesn't seem to make any sense... No matter how stiff or soft the shocks are, they do not affect tire wear. (at least during normal driving)

Sounds like a pitch to sell you some different shocks, or not to warranty some tires. If the shocks on the rear of your car a working (dampening bumps) then your tires are not going to suffer classic "blown shock" wear. Good luck.

I have blues and they are not to soft. They are stiffer then stock. I have blues pair with stock springs so I know there not to soft. They are firmer then stock and plus I thought tire wear was due to alignment issues.

Is your alignment off in the front and those wheels recently rotated to the rear? That is the only way I can imagine uneven wear in the rear.

its NOT the shocks that are contributing to your abnormal tire wear. But yes, tokico blues are soft. I have them and I know it

that is not true. If the springs and struts are not properly rate-matched, it can cause cupping of tires and other maladies.

Yeah, that is what he said. There were uneven spots on each of the rear tires. He said something like the rear Blues were too soft to hold the ground. Those damn Michelin Pilots up front went bald in the center of the tires.

Went bald in the middle of the tire? Were they overinflated?

Could you explain it in more details? I don't seem to get it.
