L/100km

Hey guys,

I know the whole "x"L/100km is far from acurate..but thats not whats bothering me right now. I'm sure it is indicative to an extent of whats happening with your fuel consumption.

About a six weeks ago and earlier, I was always sitting between 10.x-11.0 max. All of a sudden two weeks ago or so, it jumped to high 12's...

Yesterday I got home during the day, and I was sitting at 12.8 or so. I get back in my car a few hours later to go out, I look at the l/100km a few minutes into my drive..and its at 16.5L/100km!! Then it gradually dropped to 15.4...14.x...13.7 .

What could be causing this? I know by measuring that my fuel consumption is through the roof...I have a new air filter, what else can I check?

Thanks

are you looking at the gauge? that is rarely accurate.. I wouldn't use that to go by your actual mileage..
