Right headlight wont work!

Hey guys, i finally got enough posts to open up a thread!

I have a problem with my '00 Maxima SE, the right headlight wont work. Thing is the daytime running lights work, and the highbeams work, but for some odd reason the right headlight wont work. I know it's not the bulb, cause i've already changed it, and still nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks
Joey

It's the headlight control module. White box around the washer fluid neck. Right front of the vehicle underhood. A lot of them go, pretty common.
Oh wait you're canadian too so we call it Daytime running light module.

I have a similar problem... my DRLs work, my headlights work... but when I switch on the high beams my PASS side lowbeam goes out and my PASS side high beam stays on. I have heard of similar combinations and agree with NisTech.. the DRL module is what needs to be replaced.

You,re looking at approx $250.00, or you can look in the Canada section where it is mentioned how it can be repaired.

did it all myself. Took out the module, opened it up, and soldered the connection that was lose. It wasn't the easiest thing to do, and i really should have taken pics, but it was fun. Kinda cracked the casing a little bit, but nothing electric tape couldn't fix. Trust me, it was well worth the hour it took instead of paying 200$ to replace the part, and now it works perfectly.

Only bad thing that happened was we were using those round LED light thingy's, and it fell in the engine, inbetween the 2 sets of 3 cylinters (in the middle of the V). Took over 2 hours to get that out, but boy were we relieved!
