Bose Hu (cd Stuck)

Anybody know how to get a cd out? It's stuck in the OEM head unit!

This probably isn't much help at all, but the same thing happened to my stock unit. I have the 6-cd changer, and it worked fine (aside from the speaker issue the 02's seem to have) then one day i went to eject the cd out of slot 3 and it somehow got stuck. You could hear the thing trying to move the cd around, or something moving in there and then after about a minute of this the unit would then read "CD ERR FO" lol and then nothing.
For like 3 days this would happen everytime I put it in CD mode. In the meantime I just listened to the radio lol I pretty much gave up on it but for some reason decided to try it again afterr about a week of leaving it be and it worked fine, like there was never an effin problem to begin with... and its been working fine ever since...but whose to say it wont happen again. Anyway, I know its really no help whatsoever, but hey it worked for me so maybe yours will just miraculously work again lol Good Luck =)

take your head unit apart by unscrewing the little screws on the top, take off the cover and remove the cd, i have a 6 cd changer and this worked

try to "reset" the HU, by disconnecting the battery then connecting it again.

There is a fix for this.

How-to:

1.) go to local audio shop.
2.) Buy a REAL head unit.
3.) Install it.
4.) Experience a whole new world of no cut-outs, no skipping, mp3 disc capability, not having to turn the volume all the way up to hear it, and clearer sound.
5.) be happy.

worked for me

try this:

go into the engine bay fuse box (near the battery) and pull the 15a fuse for "Audio"...keep it out for 10 seconds then put it back in, turn your car on, and try the eject button....

Tried this and it did not work. I left it unplugged all night too.

if its the single CD bose unit, take off the ac vents on the top. press eject and hit the top (lol the force is with you) worked for me, never jammed again....you gotta let it know who's boss. haha

Haha this def. sounds like the best solution!

This sounds similar to the problem i had w/ mine. One day i tried to play a CD in slot #4 i think and my HU being normal just decided there wasnt a CD in slot #4. I would hit eject #4 and it would say "no CD in 4" so then i would try to insert a CD in slot #4 and it would sit there for a lil while then just eventually move onto slot #5. It made me laugh and get pissed off at the same time. Eventually it just recognized the CD and went back to normal. Sorry, know that doesnt help, just thought id add my 2 cents.
