Is there an easy way to swap a 5spd MT for a 6spd Tranny?

I searched high an low BTW and could not find anything, so, please send me a link to another thread if this one exists.

I want to know if bolt patterns, shift lever placement, all that is the same.

Basically what the major work would be to do it, is there a lot of modification involved or not.

Thanks

there is no easy way vs a hard way...something like that will be hard (and expensive and time consuming) regardless
