brakes and battery connected?

so my battery went dead and I got a new one...well the brakes seem much tighter and more responsive.
Any possible connection w/ replacing a battery and the brakes?
Car also seems slightly more reponsive!
thoughts?

I don't think so. I ain't a car specialists by any means, but I don't think your battery has anything to do with your brakes. Your brakes work off of a hydraulic system. It uses the brake fluid to create pressure to close the calipers. I hope this answers your question.

YOu are suffering from a phenomenon called "carmaintenistis".

Each time you do something yourself to either service, improve, or modify your car -- you feel like it just got faster, stronger, better, more comfortable - what have you...

Nope. No link between the batt and brakes -- but it sure FEELS better don't it?!
