Removing the nozzles should be the same procedure when I had my '95. Try the following:

1) Open hood
2) Remove protective cover underneath hood.
3) Disconnect hoses going to each nozzle. (They should just slide off).
4) Squeeze and push upwards on bottom of nozzle. (They are just snapped in hood).

As far as the guages, any Nissan dealer sells each individual guage in the cluster for the 2k and early 2k1 models. But, you're probably better just buying the whole cluster off Ebay for cheap. I have a '01 cluster for sale, but it's the later one with the whole guages as one piece, though. Let me know if you're interested.

No need to remove cover under the hood. There are 2 holes forward of the cover where you access the nozzles. Use some pliers to squeeze the clips together and just work it out. The tube is easy, just twist and pull at the same time. It will come off, just work at it.

When I changed my nozzles I had to pull that tube like a **** to get it off. I actually thought I was going to wreck it but it finally popped off.....no harm done.

It was kind of tight for me as well. I'm guessing the tube slowly forms to the ribs on the nozzle that are keeping it on. It's a matter of pulling the tube past those ribs so it can just slide off. In any event, the tube seems fairly sturdy and not easily broken by pulling.
