Well I just got my x-mas bonus and I must say its nice enough to buy a '03 max with low miles, but im not gonna do that. What I wanna do is give my max a nice overhaul, so what do you guys recommend I all changeout???? I wanna put about a $1000 into it(incl springs/struts/shocks). So maybe around $400-500 in tune-up parts! Thanks

 

depending on your current mileage. tune up parts could be plugs and coils. adition to these you can change maf, pcv valve and clean tb.

 

well its an 2002 @ 90k, ive already changed out the MAF not too long ago, I was planning on doing like, plugs, wires, pcv valve, fuel filter, flush and fill brake, power steering, radiator, and transmission fluids, new gasket for the IM
Do you guys think this would be well enough or am I forgettin something?

 

if your stock, change out the air filter..oil change. you pretty much mentioned all there is to be done for a basic tune up
