Save your money until you get a lighter flywheel, then compliment it with the sts. A sts will only allow you to get the stick in gear faster, the heavy stock flywheel still has to take it's time engaging. A sts at this point would really just be for fun unless thats what you want.

i disagree
the STS gives you easier and quicker shifts. it also improves the feel of the stock 6-speed tranny.

wouldnt that be the clutch since its the one grabbing the flywheel?

I've had an STS for a long time on my stock flywheel.

I can tell you, it makes the shifts feel 10x more direct by taking away a lot of the looseness associated with the stock shifter.

I can't tell you much about the lightened flywheel and performance clutch yet because I still have yet to install those.

Incorrect, neither of them make a STS for 02-03s.

Try these search terms:

"STS"

"free STS"

"Watkins STS"

Should come up with some hits.
